What should I keep in mind when visiting Savandurga?

 

Savandurga is one of the best trek spots on the outskirts of Bangalore. The trek is roughly 3.9 km uphill. Being a steep rock mountain, it is best for beginners-Intermediate trekkers. It might roughly take 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours for the entire trek; this can vary from person to person. 

 

If you visit here in the early hours, around 4 AM, then the view is definitely mesmerizing. Try to wear a good sports shoe as wearing slippers and sandals make it hard to climb.
