Shivanasamudra Falls:

These waterfalls are one of Bangalore's majestic and popular tourist destinations located in Karnataka. A unique fact about this is the island of Shivanasamudra divides the Kaveri River into 2 halves to form these magnificent 2 waterfalls, wherein one is named Gaganachukkiu, and the other is named Bharachukki. 

 

Instead of giving you a long history lesson, it's much easier to iterate the fun stuff to do at this place. If you follow the stream, you could take a coracle ride to the opening of this magnificent waterfall. One of the halves of the waterfall known as barachuki has a section where tourists can enjoy a bath under the waterfall and take in a breath of fresh air. 

 

This magnificent waterfall is at a distance of 130 km from Bangalore and, if you're travelling from Mysore, it's a wonderful ride of 81 km and is quite a famous waterfall situated in the Mandya district of Karnataka State.

The Thottikallu Falls is located next to the Kanakapura road. It is one of the popular spots in Bangalore to visit, and the monsoon season is best suited to visit these wonderful locations. 

 

If you're quite adventurous here's some soothing stuff for your ear. There is a trail to the falls, and it's a bit rugged however, there are other places near the falls which includes a shrine that is revered and is a religious environment for locals. Bike riders can also use this path for a healing ride away from the bustling city. 

 

Our suggestion is to visit the Thottikallu Falls during the day so that you can explore the whole area and bask in the stunning views of the surrounding. If you want to skip the crowd, don't go on Sundays.
