Overnight oatmeal is one of the simplest no-cook breakfast choices that will give you a healthy snack to grab on the run. You can replace the ingredients with whatever you have on hand.
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup milk, dairy or dairy-free
1/4 cup Greek yogurt, or dairy-free yogurt
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
a mason jar or ceramic bowl
(freezing needed)
Take a ceramic bowl or mason jar and add rolled oats, milk, yogurt, chia seed, and some vanilla extract and stir together.
Cover it and let it soak overnight in the fridge.
And that's it, top it off with some fruits, seeds, or nuts of your choice and bon appétit.

A simple dish with delectable flavors, french toast is a must-try by all hostilities. French toast will only take about 20 minutes to make and is a healthy yet tasty breakfast choice.
1/2 cup milk
4 eggs
2 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
pinch of salt
6 slices of bread
1 slice of butter

Fry pan
Take a ceramic bowl, add milk, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon powder, salt and give it a good whisk.
Dip your bread slices one by one into the mixture.
Take a saucepan, add a slice of butter and wait for it to melt.
Toast your bread until it looks crispy.
Plate your french toasts and top it off with some honey or maple syrup
Don’t forget to dust some powdered sugar as well.
Looking for a wholesome recipe that is easy to make and is filling at the same time? Then look no further, a chicken sandwich is the one. Chicken sandwiches can be eaten any time of the day as a meal or as a snack and can be made anywhere with few ingredients.
1 sliced onion
½ sliced capsicum
1 sliced tomato (medium-sized )
1 cup of fried chicken pieces
½ cup of mayonnaise
½ teaspoon black pepper powder
pinch of salt
6 - 8 slices of bread
1 slice of butter
1 tomato sauce
A bowl
Fry pan
Take a bowl, add onion, capsicum, tomatoes, chicken pieces, mayonnaise, pepper powder, a pinch of salt and give it a good mix.
Add a slice of butter to the pan and toast your bread slices.
Take two slices of bread and apply tomato sauce to one side of the bread
Take a good amount of filling and add that to your bread
And eat heartily, your chicken mayo sandwich is ready
Craving something sweet, yet healthy? Then how about some apple chaat. Don’t fall for the name, this dish right here is not only nutritious but also very delicious. If you are just bored and have nothing to eat, then this right here is the perfect dish to make.
1 medium apple sliced
1/2 cup greek yogurt
10-12 raisins
8-10 crushed almonds
1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
1 teaspoon honey
½ cup pomegranate
Utensils Required
A bowl
(Freezing optional)
Take a bowl, add apple slices, greek yogurt, raisins, almonds, pumpkin seeds, and honey, and give it a good mix.
Freeze the mixture and top it with some pomegranate and honey.
Are you starving and don’t know what to eat? Then how about some egg-fried rice? Egg-fried rice is one of the best lunch/dinner options out there as it is filling and nutritious. It would take only about 5 to 10 minutes to make and it is a meal option for a pg hostel cooking.
2 teaspoon virgin coconut oil
3 crushed garlic
1/2 onion sliced
1 medium-sized carrot (sliced into small pieces)
5 beans sliced into small pieces
2 green chilies
Pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper powder
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 egg
1 cup of cooked rice
Frying pan or kettle
Take a frying pan, add 1 teaspoon of virgin coconut oil. Then add in the garlic and onion. Stir until it becomes a golden brown color
Next up add the veggies, and chilly. You can use any seasonal vegetables available. Now saute the veggies until they are cooked.
Add a pinch of salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper powder, and soy sauce, and give a good mix
Push these veggies into one side and add the remaining oil to the other side.
Crack open an egg to the oil, add some salt and the remaining pepper to the egg and stir well to cook the scrambled egg.
Mix the veggies and egg together for a minute
Add cooked rice to the mixture and stir well. And your egg-fried rice is ready to serve and share with your friends.
Chocolate is the cure for everything. Have a good day? Have chocolate, have a bad day? Have chocolate. Then how about a chocolate cake. I know you are staying in a pg and there is no way you can make a chocolate cake in your pg. But how about a chocolate mug cake, you can easily make using a microwave. Sounds awesome right? Then here is your recipe.
3 tablespoons all purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
¼ baking powder
Pinch of salt
3 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
20 grams of milk chocolate chips
Mug
Microwave
Take a mug and mix all-purpose flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
Mix the dry ingredients well
Add milk and vegetable oil and mix until it looks creamy like a cake batter.
Add the chocolate chips and mix
Now pop it in the microwave for 1 minute
Your chocolate cake is ready.
You can spice it up by sprinkling some powdered sugar and some chocolate syrup and don’t forget to share it with your friends
